honestly i was proper nervous about getting on the back of a motorbike for two days but dat was absolutely brilliant. he’s such a solid driver and i felt completely safe the whole time, even on the winding roads coming down from dalat.
the scenery is just massive. feeling the air get warmer as we got closer to mui ne was something else, you really smell the pine trees and then the salt air. we stopped at a coffee farm and the silk factory which were spot on, really interesting to see the local side of things without big crowds.
highlight was definitely the evening at the farmstay. dat roasted a chicken for us and we just sat around chatting, felt like hanging out with an old friend. my bum was a bit numb by the end of the ride and my hair was a mess from the helmet but i wouldn’t change a thing. properly gutted it’s over now. cheers dat for a trip to remember.
